Some books and articles we read may change our mindset, perspective toward life, and captivate paradigm-shift thinking that improve the art of the good life.

A book I read recently, " The Art of the Good Life", written by Golf Dobelli, a Swiss writer, novelist and entrepreneur has opened up some clear thinking for business and a better life for me.

As the author mentioned in the foreword, for at least 2500 years, since antiquity, people have been asking themselves

What it means to live a good life?

What is the role of fate?

What is the role of money?

What constitutes a good life?

Is leading a good life a question of mindset, of adopting a particular attitude, or

Is it more about reaching concrete life goals?

Is it better to actively seek happiness or to avoid unhappiness?

These are the questions that lingering in most of our mind especially when we are in predicament or misery.

Is it more

It is a collection of 52 short essays providing practical and philosophical insights aim at leading a happier and more fulfilling life, guiding readers in navigating complexity in daily lives.

The author highlighted various aspects of life, including career, relationships, personal growth, and finances. He suggested the ways to confront challenges, make wise decision,  abilities to make better choices and how to embrace a good life.

I could conclude that "The Art of the Good Life" is a mental toolkit, with a range of tools to seek for happiness, self-development, and adaption for practical living and in this complicated and fast-paced world.
